The following training programmes aim to provide trainees with the opportunity to develop their ability to deliver appropriate care to patients, through the learning and support from our experienced faculty and to enable them to qualify for exit as a specialist.
KTPH Sports Medicine Centre (SMC) hosts the Lee Kong Chian (LKC) School of Medicine Graduate Diploma in Sports Medicine. This is a year long program aimed at practicing doctors at the postgraduate level with an interest in sports medicine. The students are attached to the centre for 20 hours of clinical attachment during the program. This is an important part of the program which KTPH SMC participates in.
KTPH SMC sees about 10-12 students each year in this program with rotations to different areas within our multidisciplinary centre including sports and exercise medicine, sports surgery, physiotherapy, podiatry, acupuncture and sports dietetics.
