Workplace Health

Creating a culture of health at the workplace

Khoo Teck Puat Hospital believes in the philosophy of “a sound mind in a sound body”. Our work-life initiatives and activities are aligned with our Five Pillars of Health: Eat Wisely, Exercise Regularly, Be Happy, Stop Smoking and Practise Personal Hygiene.

Our efforts in workplace health promotion have been well-received by our staff and recognised with awards. Our success in workplace health promotion programme is built making KTPH a “living laboratory”. We are constantly exploring new ways to effect positive change in the public’s health behaviour. The living lab concept enables us to learn from other organisations and also engage them to build healthy workplace cultures that are aligned to our Five Pillars of Health.

At Khoo Teck Puat Hospital, we firmly believe in walking the talk. Our commitment to our own staff health has been recognised with an Excellence Award by the Health Promotion Board in 2017 (listed as Yishun Health Campus). We were also awarded the prestigious Global Healthy Workplace Award for 2013 (Large Enterprises category).

We are listed on the Health Promotion Board's Directory of Service Providers and Workplace Health Promotion Consultants. (Please look for Khoo Teck Puat Hospital)

Our comprehensive menu of health talks and mental well-being programmes are designed and delivered by our multidisciplinary team of doctors, nurses and allied health professionals.

We also offer eye screening packages and sports and fitness screening packages.

Health Talks

Health talks are delivered by our doctors and allied health team. The topics include Weight Management, Nutrition, and Mental Wellbeing, among others.

Targeted Intervention Programmes

We conduct three to four month group intervention programmes for individuals with specific health risks such as obesity and smoking. The objective is to educate and motivate these individuals to take better control of their health conditions to help prevent the onset of debilitating complications.

Our clinic-based intervention programmes have the added advantage of giving your employees the opportunity to undertake fitness programmes at our well-equipped gym.

Mental Well-being Programme

Our team of psychologists conduct workshops and talks in the areas of stress and crisis management, resiliency, positive thinking skills, anger management, positive psychology, and parenting skills. Please click here for more information.
