  • Yishun Health was conferred the Charity Gold Award at the annual Community Chest Awards Ceremony. This award recognises organisations with employees on SHARE for their high donation rate to Community Chest.

Ann Wee NUS Social Work Alumni Award

  • The WHC project successfully completed one million man-hours of safe construction.

    Ms Jenny Goh, Deputy Head, Medical Social Services, Yishun Health, received the Ann Wee NUS Social Work Alumni Award. This award recognises NUS Social Work alumnus who have made major contributions to social work education and practice.

Human City Design Award

  • Khoo Teck Puat Hospital's Population Health & Community Transformation (PHCT) team won a Human City Design Award. This year the award had 75 entries from 25 countries internationally.

    The Human City Design Award recognises PHCT's good work in establishing three Wellness Kampungs in Yishun, designing spaces for senior residents to bond and support one another in the community.

Asian Hospital Management Award

  • Asian Hospital Management Award is a prestigious award in the Asia Pacific that recognises and honours hospitals that take innovative and progressive approaches to improve healthcare in the region. Out of 500 nomination entries across 17 countries, Yishun Health clinched 2 awards:

Asian Elderly Care Awards (AECA) 2019

  • Yishun Health under National Healthcare Group received 5 awards during the inaugural Asian Elderly Care Awards in January 2019. They are:
    • Gold Award - Excellence in Brand Building and Marketing
      Share a Pot was recognised as an outstanding and well-branded community service programme. The effective website, brochure, social media postings and press coverage "press all the right buttons for its intended community. Its service offering across all communication channnels is clear and compelling" commented the judging panel.

President's Award for Nurses

  • Ms Shirley Heng, Deputy Chief Nurse, KTPH and Yishun Health has been awarded the President's Award for Nurses 2018. The award is the highest accolade in the nursing profession, recognising outstanding nurses who have made significant contributions to patient care, education, leadership, research and administration.

NTUC May Day Awards

  • Mrs Chew Kwee Tiang, CEO of KTPH and Yishun Health, was conferred the Medal of Commendation at the annual NTUC May Day Awards Ceremony, which was held in conjunction with Labour Day.

    The award recognises individual leaders and organisations for their outstanding contributions to workers in Singapore.

    Yishun Health also received the inaugural Innovative Breakthrough Award in recognition of significant and innovative breakthrough initiatives that have impacted the lives of workers.

  • The award recognises individuals and teams from Public Service for their excellence in service delivery, innovation and best practices.

    From the pool of worthy recipients, A/Prof Philip Yap, Senior Consultant, Geriatric Medicine, was lauded the Distinguished ExCEL Innovation Champion for his pioneering work in the area of dementia, while the team from Community and Home Eye Screening Service (CHESS) picked up the ExCEL Innovative Project award.

  • The Singapore Environment Council (SEC) awarded KTPH with the Singapore Environmental Achievement Award (Public Sector) 2018 in recognition of our excellent environment and we are honoured to receive the Safety and Security Watch Group (SSWG) Award for five consecutive years.

    The award recognises SSWG members for their exceptional efforts, including taking ownership and practising a proactive approach towards premise safety and security, environmental stewardship and green initiatives.

Healthcare Humanity Award

  • Healthcare Humanity Award is a continuing legacy of the Courage Awards that was first given out to selfless healthcare workers during the outbreak of Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome (SARS) in 2003.
